PRIVACY POLICY OF THE LeTube SOCIAL NETWORK

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS AND LEGAL BASIS
1.1. This Privacy Policy has been developed in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, and in compliance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" dated July 27, 2006, and Federal Law No. 149-FZ "On Information, Information Technologies, and Information Protection" dated July 27, 2006.
1.2. This Policy establishes strict rules for the processing and protection of personal data of users of the LeTube social network, available at: https://leshagorshkov.ru/letube/ and all its subdomains.

1.4. Use of the Platform constitutes the user's unconditional consent to the terms of this Policy.

2. PRINCIPLES AND CONDITIONS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

2.1. Personal data processing is carried out based on the following principles established by Article 5 of the Federal Law "On Personal Data":
  • lawfulness and fairness;
  • limitation of processing to the achievement of specific, predetermined purposes;
  • prevention of merging databases containing personal data processed for incompatible purposes;
  • ensuring the accuracy and sufficiency of personal data.
  • 2.2. The legal grounds for personal data processing are:
  • the user's consent to the processing of personal data, which is given upon registration on the Platform;
  • performance of a user agreement to which the user is a party;
  • exercise of the Operator's rights and legitimate interests, provided that the rights and freedoms of the user are not violated.

3. SCOPE AND PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

3.1. Registration Data:
  • Scope: Email address, name, phone number, password, channel name, "About Channel" information;
  • Purpose of Processing: User identification, account creation, providing access to the Platform's functionality, access recovery.
  • 3.2. User Content and Activity:
  • Scope: Publication texts, photos, attached files, likes, comments, subscriptions, viewing history, data on complaints and appeals;
  • Purpose of Processing: Ensuring social network functionality, content moderation in accordance with the Platform Rules, generating a recommendation feed, handling disputes.
  • 3.3. Technical Data and Cookies:
  • Scope: IP address, device type, operating system, browser data, cookies;
  • Purpose of Processing: Ensuring security, preventing attacks, collecting statistics, improving the Platform's performance.
  • 3.4. Data for Inquiries:
  • Scope: Information provided when submitting a complaint, appeal, or verification request;
  • Purpose of Processing: Handling disputes, moderation, confirming channel uniqueness.

4. RETENTION PERIODS AND DATA DELETION PROCEDURE

4.1. The retention period for personal data corresponds to the duration of the user's account, unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
4.2. Upon deletion of a channel, all personal data and user content shall be destroyed within 30 calendar days, except in cases where:
  • the data is necessary to investigate violations of the Platform Rules;
  • the data is required to fulfill obligations to state authorities.
  • 4.3. Anonymized statistical data may be stored indefinitely for analytical purposes.

5. OPERATOR'S OBLIGATIONS AND USER RIGHTS

5.1. The Operator is obliged to:
  • ensure the confidentiality of personal data;
  • take necessary measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, destruction, copying, and distribution;
  • not disclose personal data to third parties without the user's consent, except in cases provided for by federal law.

  • request clarification of their personal data, its blocking, or destruction;
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data by deleting their channel;
  • appeal the Operator's actions to the authorized body for the protection of personal data subjects or in court;
  • file an appeal against moderation decisions.

6. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

6.1. The Operator does not sell users' personal data and does not transfer it to third parties for marketing purposes.
6.2. Transfer of data to third parties is permitted only in the following cases:
  • anonymized data is transferred to analytical systems for statistical collection;
  • upon a reasoned request from state authorities authorized in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

7. PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF MINORS

7.1. In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Platform Rules, the use of LeTube is permitted for persons aged 12 and over.
7.2. If the Operator becomes aware that a user has not reached the specified age, the account shall be immediately blocked, and all personal data deleted.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1. The Operator has the right to make changes to this Policy. The new version of the Policy comes into force upon its posting.
